If you’re an ARC reader looking for a new story, check this out!
…And in the Beginning opens billions of light years from Earth on a doomed planet that will reshape history as we know it. Luma, the Sumerian Acolyte is destined to follow in her Ascended brother’s footsteps, but her lazy path to immortality is interrupted when a cataclysmic event changes everything. Luma is lost to the cosmos, but apparently the Universe has a plan.
In the year 2020 on modern-day Earth, the Archangel Raphael finally begins to understand the reason for her lonely Exile. For years she has wandered the Earth with nothing but a vague old prophecy and her estranged brother, Azrael to guide her steps. That will all change the day she stumbles into FBI Special Agent Levi Malach during his hunt for the international assassin, Rian Murphy. Despite her reluctance to get involved with the intricacies of human affairs, Raphael is thrown into a race against time… A race that will determine the fate of two worlds and change human history forever.
But wait…Manna, what is an ARC?

An ARC (Advance Reader Copy) is generally a formatted e-book of the final draft of an unreleased novel (give or take a few punctuation errors) that is sent out to an ‘ARC team’, assembled by the author. ARC readers can be anyone from a blogger to a bookseller or person that just loves to devour books like air. The idea behind an ARC is to have a select group of booklovers read through the proof copy before release date. There are a couple of reasons for this, the first being that an ARC is generally offered in exchange for an honest review on Amazon or Goodreads, and the second is because a new set of eyes will always find that one lingering error that the author’s eyes missed.

Basically, an ARC is a marketing tool used by authors pre-release in the hopes that the book is exciting (and well written) enough to create a buzz that attracts buyers to it once it is available for purchase.
